Dana J Martin is a pilot herself with over 1800 hours of flight time and instrument rated.
At Spicewood Airport we pride ourselves in helping every pilot find a perfect spot that fits their aviation needs. Originally built in 1972, this airport blossomed in 1998 and has become the dream of many pilots. We maintain that “small town airport” atmosphere with our friendly welcoming pilots and neighbors. Windermere Airpark, LLC owned by Dana J Martin and Malcom D. Baily, saw a General Aviation need in 1998 and developed Phase I and II of the Windermere Airpark Lots. In 1999 they created Spicewood Aviation Inc, that owned the airport until 2014 when it was sold the the Non-Profit Pilot Association. Quality restrictions, and a great Pilot's Association is at the heart of our successful community airport. Whether you rent or own, you become a member and play a valuable part or our little airport community.
